Two weeks prior to the sale, we will advertise on our website, Instagram, Facebook, Craigslist, Estatesale.net, and other avenues. An email will also be sent to our mailing list with thousands of subscribers. The day of the sale, we will post signs on nearby major streets to guide traffic and post a sign in front of your estate.
Bad weather hardly affects an estate sale in Los Angeles. It can be done all indoors if needed or postponed if desired by the estate owner. If there is a weather emergency, we may postpone the sale.
No, just relax! Many customers are more comfortable shopping when the estate owners are not around. It may also be more comfortable for you if you are not present due to it being emotionally difficult to watch people rummage through your or your family's belongings that hold sentimental value.
Since they would still be your belongings, the decision is up to you. You may keep them or we may donate or recycle them for you. Any set-up or trash produced by our team will be removed from the property.
We typically conduct the sale throughout the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 9 am - 4 pm. Since we conduct the sale at the home, which includes researching, pricing, photographing (for advertising) and staging items, it is best if the client is fully moved out prior to the sale for an easier sale experience.
Nothing! What may be valueless to you may be valuable to someone else. Let us take a look at everything you are no longer interested in keeping. After the sale is over, we can help you decide on what to do with some remaining items.
No. Though vintage, antiques and art have the best selling rates, there are plenty of items that are valuable or useful for customers.
We have staff around the property including the entrance and exit. We also allow limited people inside the property at a time to ensure an underwhelming crowd we can easily assist.
Our sales operate on a first come first serve basis. No RSVP is necessary and there will be no online signup lists. There may be a list on the day of each sale.
You are NOT allowed to bring in bags/purses, weapons (including sharp objects), and pets. We allow empty shopping bags or boxes.
We do not offer moving services for purchased items big or small. It is your responsibility to move the items from the property.
You have until the last day of the sale to move out oversized purchased items. Small items must be taken when purchased.
We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard credit cards, and Zelle.
No. Items are only available during each posted sale. We may extend the sale and/or host a warehouse sale throughout the year.
